Assam’s star sprinter Hima Das won her fourth international gold within 15 days as she won the 200m race with a creditable timing in the Tabor Athletics meet in the Czech Republic on Wednesday. Hima clocked 23.25 seconds to clinch gold while her compatriot VK Vismaya won the silver medal with a season-best 23.43. In the men’s event of 400m race, national record holder Muhammed Anas grabbed the gold with 45.40 seconds.

The 19-year-old Hima achieved her fourth gold since her first competitive race in Europe on July 2nd but her personal best in 200m race is still 23.10 seconds.

The victorious sprinter tweeted after the win, “Won another gold today in 200m and improved my timings to 23.25s at Tabor GP.” On July second, she had clocked 23.65s to win gold at the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix in Poland.

Again on July 8th, she won her second gold in 200m at the Kutno Athletics Meet, braving a sore back but still clocking 23.97 seconds while VK Vismaya clinched silver with a timing of 24.06 seconds.
At the Kladno Athletics Meet in the Czech Republic, she clinched her third yellow metal o July 13th.
