On Sunday, Switzerland will be looking forward to dismantle Belgium in Nations League at Swissporarena, Lucerne

During their Nations League campaign, Swiss have become a stepping stone for other teams to lean forward. Going into this year’s World Cup, the Swiss had lost only once in 22 matches and extended that sequence to 25 before bowing out 1-0 to Sweden in the round of 16. But since then, performance of Swiss was no more than a debacle. In just 5 matches, they have lost 3 matches– 1-0 in friendly games away to England and, with an experimental line-up, at home to Qatar on Wednesday, plus 2-1 away to Belgium in the Nations League. For now, Swiss team is all desperate for a win to accommodate a place in the top 4 and that is possible only if they leave behind their losing habits and move on from a streak of failures.

While Belgium made it three wins out of three when they won 2-0 against point-less Iceland on Thursday with a second-half Michy Batshuayi double. They are definitely one of the improvised team of the seaons. Still needless to say Belgium is playing hunch on this game as they have to win to ignore the one point gap to enter the top 4.

Probable Line-ups:

Switzerland:

Sommer (GK); Mbabu, Lacroix, Elvedi, Rodriguez; Zakaria, Xhaka; Shaqiri, Freuler, Zuber; Seferovic.

Belgium:

Courtois (GK) ; Alderweireld, Kompany, Boyata; Meunier, Tielemans, Witsel, Thorgan Hazard; Mertens, Batshuayi, Eden Hazard.

My PlayerzPot XI:

PlayerzPot Prediction:

Belgium is on the winning streak and victory over Switzerland won’t be task for Belgium.
