From apartheid ban from international cricket to match-fixing on players to losing their player in a plane crash, the squad has always been keeping it strong. Achieved their full ICC member status in 1909 has sustained being cutthroat.

Origin:

South Africa entered the cricket world in 1888-89 when they hosted the England team and had a miserable performance against the rival teams like Australia. By passing years, this squad rose up to be fierce and experienced. The apartheid ban remained in place till the 1960s.
