  • The tokens can only come into play with a roll of six on the dice.
  • Players will have to move their respective tokens based on the number that appeared on the dice, players cannot choose not to move their tokens.
  • A bite of a snake’s head will see the token drop down the tail end of its particular square.
  • Ladders will help you climb up the board, acting as the power-up.
  • The player who manages to successfully cross their respective token to the finish line i.e. square no.100 is crowned the winner.

How To Play SLL Game Online?

In order to start your journey and understand how to play snakes, ladders & ludo game, you will first need to know the basics. The game is generally played between two players sitting next to each other. There are a total of 100 tiles on the board with ladders and snakes at regular intervals of the board. Ladders will help you skip the squares and make your move ahead easier while the snake will bring you down the board further making your progress a tough one.

1. Kick Start Your Game

The rule states that the player in order to move one of the four tokens needs to roll the dice to get six. Until the player does not roll a six, the token will remain in the home square and cannot be allowed to move across the board. Upon rolling a six the player can release a new token or can make a move with the existing token on the board. The player gets an additional roll of dice with six but be aware that a consistent roll of 6 three times in a row will forfeit your chance.

2. Eliminate the Opponent's Tokens

Considering the Snakes, Ladders & Ludo have a unique twist where you can eliminate your opponent and make sure you use this to your advantage. If a player’s piece lands on the same square that is already occupied by a different coloured token then the opponent's token is eliminated, resulting in the player once again trying to roll six to get the piece running on the board. Make sure to make your strike count.

3. Round Off the Game in the End Zone for the Win

So, if the player has to win he/she needs to ensure that all the coloured tokens are safely placed inside the end zone. But make sure you do not crowd out the end zone section of six squares as this makes your end game quite hectic and decelerated. Another thing a player in Snakes, Ladders & Ludo has to always keep in mind is the position of his opponent as they can eliminate your tokens, thus you will have to start from scratch again.
