is to raid and defend. The raiders can eliminate the opposing team players and the
defending team in their defense can eliminate the raider. The raider has a total of 30
seconds to complete the raid and thus collect a maximum number of raid points for the
team. The game is believed to have originated in India, 4000 years ago. In
1936, the game of Kabaddi came into prominence and got international recognition after

Japan, Malaysia, Iran, and South Korea started to compete on the world stage. The due

was started in the year 2014. The Indian Kabaddi League has played an important role in
Kabaddi's rising popularity in the country over the last 9 years.
