A decision was made and Jose Mourinho was sacked after no progress in the performance of Manchester United as they are 19 points behind league leaders, Liverpool.
With no criticism faced, Manchester United reluctantly took the decision as they had already spent £400m on 11 players and still no progress in their style. The club also says the new manager will understand the philosophy of the club, including its attacking traditions.
The decision was being made with a display of attachment marking a statement: the club is bigger than any one individual.
In October, there were reports that Mourinho might be sacked before the home game against Newcastle, but after the team trailed 2-0, they turned it around to win 3-2 and seemingly by the former Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid boss more time.
Mourinho’s sacking comes after a fall-out with £89m record signing Paul Pogba, who was an unused substitute for the defeat at Anfield on Sunday.
A storm of tweets took the charge of throwing some hate comments on Twitter for Jose Mourinho as some said that Manchester United deserves better and the coach deserves to be ruled out so that he can learn some more about football.
But Manchester United statement revealed some polite words for Jose.
“The club would like to thank Jose for his work during his time at Manchester United and to wish him success in the future.”
The club is looking to appoint a new caretaker that will be in charge of football operations conducted in the club. The candidate will be drawn from outside the club and it will be not former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
