DELHI:

Delhi, who will be hosting Mumbai at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, stands strong in this fixture as they have previously clinched three back-to-back wins. Although skipper Shreyas Iyer suffered a mild injury during the practice sessions, all eyes will be on Rishabh Pant, who missed out making his way to 2019 ICC World Cup squad. With disappointment surfaced in Pant’s bat, it will be interesting to see how mature he stands against such disappointments and how well he performs in this fixture. Also, Colin Ingram will be off from this fixture due to the birth of his child and we can expect Munro to take his place. With the slow track turning as well, Sandeep Lamichhane is expected to play as well.

Probable Line-ups: Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Colin Munro, Shreyas Iyer (c), Rishabh Pant (wk), Chris Morris, Axar Patel, Sandeep Lamichhane, Amit Mishra, Ishant Sharma, Kagiso Rabada.

MUMBAI:

Although Mumbai faced a bit of disappointment in their previous match, this time around they are expected to turn the tables as three-time title winners are familiar with the pitch and have won many fixtures in the previous season. For Mumbai, the three-time champs would look to bring in Mayank Markande along with Rahul Chahar given the conditions. With Jason Behrendorff going for runs in recent matches, Mitchell McClenaghan is expected to be brought in. As Mumbai is quite far behind Delhi, we can expect desperate attempts from Mumbai to make it to the playoffs. Batsmen can score freely in the powerplay which calls to pick players from the top-order of either team. As far as the favorites tag is concerned, both teams are neck and neck with Delhi having a slight advantage due to their away win against Mumbai and because they have the home advantage.

Probable Line-ups: Rohit Sharma (c), Quinton de Kock (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan, Krunal Pandya, Rahul Chahar, Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah, Mitchell McClenaghan.
