Jamshedpur will host Hyderabad at the JRD Tata Sports Complex tonight in Match 10 of the Indian Soccer League. The hosts will be looking to get back to back wins while the visitors would want to take something away after a dismal start to the campaign.
Two teams with very contrasting opening games face each other for the first time in the ISL. Jamshedpur showed character to win late against Odisha despite playing most of the game with 10 men. While Hyderabad were at the wrong end of a 5-0 thrashing against Kolkata on Friday.
Jamshedpur Coach Antonio Iriondo likes his team to play an attacking brand of football while keeping possession of the ball. However, he had to adapt his team in the opening game after Bikash Jairu got sent off early. Against Hyderabad though, they will be looking to set the tempo right from the start. Piti will once again be the playmaker supported up top by Castel who scored the late winner. Bikash Jairu is suspended while Vineet is still recovering from Injury.
Hyderabad Coach Phil Brown has issues to deal with. His squad is plagued by injuries to players like Bobo, Giles Barnes, Rafael Gomez and Ashish Rai. While Spanish midfielder Nestor Gordillo is suspended. To add to his troubles key players like Marcelinho & Stankovic did not rise to the occasion against Kolkata which ended in an embarrassing defeat. This is the worst possible scenario for the new franchise to start their season with.
