Rueben Loftus-Cheek fired a hat-trick against BATE-Borisov and lead Chelsea in their 100% Europa League record. It was indeed a revival night for the Englishman who could make a significant impact on the game after being given the opportunity to impress.
The midfielder was given a rare start by Maurizio Sarri, in the Blues clash against the BATE Borisov and Loftus made most of it by his stunning performance which ended up in a 3–1 win. He was making just his second start of the season across all the competitions and was seen in the pitch for the Premier Leagues for just 33 minutes. He proved himself by becoming the first Chelsea player since Didier Drogba in 2006 to score a hat-trick in Europe.
It wasn’t just the hat-trick that caught the eyes of the spectators but the overall excellence of his attacking game. He was the master of the ball moves and showed the entire pace and vigor of a professional which made the supporters dream of greater things.
Despite this glittering achievement, the Young Chelsea midfielder kept his feet planted firmly on the ground.
