Novak Djokovic has already established himself as the best tennis player ever to play the game and deserves more respect, says the tennis legend, Boris Becker.
World No: 1 Djokovic won his fifth Wimbledon title by beating Centre Court’s favorite Roger Federer in the midst of the partisan crowd who was cheering for Federer most of the time.
Lasting four hours and fifty-seven minutes, it was the longest Wimbledon finals and the victory brought Novak closer to Federer’s men’s record of 20 major triumphs.
Boris Becker who coached Djokovic from 2013-2016 was in all praise for him, “Novak is not quite happy yet. He is one of the greatest of all time but he wants to be the greatest of all time.
Honestly, I think he can overtake them, but I wouldn’t like to say that for sure. The race is still on. Now after 16 majors, people have got to wake up to the greatness of Novak Djokovic.”
Becker strongly believes that Djokovic will not stop until he has surpassed Federer and Nadal.
