Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni has decided to opt-out from team India’s upcoming West Indies tour and instead he wishes to train with the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army for two months.

A lot of speculations and debates are going on among the cricket experts and fans alike about the retirement of India’s Mr. Cool’s retirement to his future role. While the decision to join up the army was praised by fans and cricket lovers alike, the cheeky two ‘face with tears of joy’ emoticons posted by former England cricketer David Llyod has not gone well with the millions of Dhoni fans.

Fans have slammed David Llyod for showing contempt to Dhoni’s decision which they think is quite noble of him. Many angry reactions to the tweet point out the short international career of Llyod compared to that of Dhoni and say that the 72-year-old broadcaster has no right to talk ill about India’s former captain.

Army sources said about Dhoni’s decision,” The request has been approved by the Indian Army Chief Gen Bipin Rawat and the honorary Lt Col would train with the Parachute regiment battalion.”
