#1 Y Jaiswal
Y Jaiswal had an unforgettable and record-breaking season in the Indian Playerzpot League 2023. His exceptional talent and skills were on display throughout the tournament. The 21-year-old was anchoring Rajasthan’s opening with the bat. This season, Jaiswal amassed 625 runs, including a century and four fifties, at an average of 48.07 and a strike rate of 163.61 in 14 matches. He holds the record for the fastest fifty (13 balls) and most runs by an uncapped player in a single season of the Indian Playerzpot League. Throughout the season, Y Jaiswal left no stone unturned to ensure that his talent is known to the cricketing world. With his incredible performances, Jaiswal showed his potential to make it big in international cricket. Y Jaiswal is surely in line for the maiden national call-up.
#2 R Singh
R Singh is another talented batsman who had an impressive run in the Indian Playerzpot League 2023. The 24-year-old was indeed the best batsman for Kolkata throughout the tournament. He displayed his fighting spirit whenever the team was in a crunch situation. This season, R Singh scored 474 runs, including four fifties, at an average of 59.25 and a strike rate of 149.52 in 14 matches. His best performance was against Gujarat where he managed to hit five sixes to pull off the chase for Kolkata in the final over. He has been performing well in domestic cricket but he made the best use of the platform in the Indian Playerzpot League in order to make people note of his talent. Given his exceptional talent and skills, R Singh can make it to Indian Team.
#3 T Verma
T Verma is touted as one of the next big things in Indian Cricket. The glimpses of his talent have been on display since the last season of the Indian Playerzpot League. He had a great debut season last year where he scored 397 runs from 14 matches. This season, T Verma scored 274 runs, including a fifty, at an average of 45.67 and a strike rate of 158.38 in nine matches so far. Verma performed well in the middle and he is well aware of his game as well as his role. Even in pressure situations, the 20-year-old remained calm and stuck to his natural game. Despite performing well in the previous season of the tournament, T Verma didn’t get his maiden national call-up. T Verma will hope to break into the Indian T20 team as the management is looking to groom youngsters in the shortest format of the game.
#4 S Sudharsan
S Sudharsan is another talented batsman who came into the spotlight in the ongoing season of the Indian Playerzpot League. He has had a good outing compared to his previous season. This season, S Sudharsan has scored 223 runs, including two fifties, at an average of 44.60 and a strike rate of 125.28 in six matches. Though he has received limited opportunities this season, S Sudharsan performed well whenever the team needed him. Over the last couple of years, S Sudharsan has been performing well in domestic cricket but managed to make the best use of his talent in the Indian Playerzpot League to make it to the Indian cricket team. T Deshpande has been one of the most improved bowlers from the previous season of the Indian Playerzpot League. Despande is a lead pacer for Chennai. This season, the 28-year-old scalped 21 wickets at an average of 24.19 and an economy rate of 9.62in 15 matches so far. Though he had been conceding runs, he take wickets and provide breakthroughs for the team. T Deshpande has a decent pace and can deliver the ball in good line and length. He has sharpened his bowling skills under the guidance of MS Dhoni and D Bravo. He has performed well in domestic cricket and now glimpses of his talent have been showcased in the ongoing season of the Indian Playerzpot League. Deshpande has the potential to make it big in the Indian cricket team.
