The Netherlands produced a stunning 3-0 home success over Germany in their most recent game which gave them a massive lift up in Nations League A1. If they were to come up a victory in this one against the French as well then that would mean their chances of winning the group will stay alive until their final game, which is the second one against the Germans. If the Netherlands only manage to collect a draw out of the fixture there is no way that they can topple the French. The Dutch have a bit of home form on their side as well with a win in four of their last five on home soil (competitive and friendly).
A point is good enough to get the French the group win in this one and put themselves in the nations League Finals. They have had some withdrawals though with Manchester United duo Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba out along with Man City’s Benjamin Mendy and Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette. Looking back a little deeper at their form they have lost only one of their last 22 international fixtures and they have come up with at least two goals in six of their last eight games.

My PlayerzPot XI:
PlayerzPot Prediction:
France has not been as resounding as they were in the World Cup knockout rounds. All things considered, the two sides are on an even pedestal, and there could be nothing to separate them after 90 minutes. The Netherlands have improved in all sorts of skills but they still aren’t ready to face the might of France.
PlayerzPot Predicted score:
France 1-1 Netherlands
