Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni hosted the Indian team for a lavish dinner at their Ranchi home ahead of the third One-Day International of the five-match series against Australia on Friday.
Yuzvendra Chahal took to Twitter and posted a picture of the dinner to thank Dhoni and wife for hosting the team and wrote, “Thank You for last night @msdhoni Bhai and @Saakshi Rawat Bhabhi.”
Virat Kohli also shared an image of the evening on Instagram and captioned it saying, “Great night with the boys and Mahi Bhais place last night. Good food, fun, and chats all around and great energy. Perfect team evening.”
Men in Blue are currently leading the 5-match series 2-0 following victories in Hyderabad and Nagpur. The third of the series will be played at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi.
On Wednesday as the team reached the Ranchi airport, Dhoni received a hero’s welcome. At Hyderabad, during the first ODI series, MS Dhoni became only the 4th Indian batsman to score over 13,000 runs in List A cricket and joined the elite club which has Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, and Rahul Dravid.
