TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR:
Tottenham who currently hold a 3-0 advantage certainly has been derailed in the space of five weeks. They are currently out of both the domestic cup competitions. Although they managed to make a comeback in the Premier League, this has ended their outside title hopes. With such poor performance from Spurs, it is likely to say that they have a chance of slipping out of the top four. As of now, they have to turn their heads back on the Champions League campaign.
Dele Alli is likely to skip this fixture due to a hamstring injury. Eric Dier will also be struggling to return. Pochettino is likely to stick with his three-man backline, with Ben Davies in contention to take over from Vertonghen at left wing-back from the first leg, and Victor Wanyama is also in contention to start his second game in the space of three days after proving his fitness.

Quite like Spurs, Dortmund started off their campaign on a high note but later the spirit fizzles out. They got face-planted against Bayern in the Bundesliga and now are on the verge of dropping out of the Champions League. Dortmund collapsed in the second half against Spurs and only a three-goal win in the return match will prevent them from getting kicked out of the competition. A big part of Dortmund’s problem in the first leg was the lack of quality on show from their attacking players – strange to say after conceding three times at the other end – as Mario Gotze, Jadon Sancho and Christian Pulisic only had one shot combined at Wembley Stadium.
Dortmund will be without Marcel Schmelzer or Lukasz Piszczek due to their foot injuries.
