Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang & Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke engaged in an angry war of words recently over the nature of his departure. While Watzke sparked the argument, Aubameyang minced no words to give an equally scathing reply to his former boss.

Watzke said in a recent interview with the Süddeutsche Zeitung suggesting that the Gabon international left because of money. He appeared to be salty about the forward playing well for Arsenal. And that while he may be happy looking at his bank account, he has to be sad looking at Champions League on Wednesdays. The CEO was taunting the player over Arsenal being in the Europa League.

Aubameyang was quick to reply through twitter calling Watzke a ‘Clown’ & referenced Dortmund selling Dembele for a good amount of money. And that the latter should not talk about money.

The gunners won’t mind this saga as their superstar is in fine form. After completing his transfer for around 56 million pounds from Dortmund, Aubameyang jointly won the golden boot in Premier League. And he began this season on the same note, breaking records of Arsenal legends like Thierry Henry & Ian Wright along the way. Will Watzke return with a reply? Or is it the end of this saga… only time will tell.
