Alvaro Morata gave Chelsea a 1-0 win over Hungarian Champions, Vidi in the Europa League on Thursday. The Spaniard thus snapped his recent goal drought and raised hopes for the Blues at Stamford Bridge to keep up their perfect start.

Morata who was without a goal from August 18, wasted a terrific chance in the first half but later bagged his second goal in 10 games with a sharp finish on 70 minutes to put Chelsea in front. Sarri’s team did not have everything on their own way but had to face tough defense from the Hungarian farmers.

The emotional Morata collapsed on Williams’ shoulder after his goal and Maurizio Sarri said,” If he cries after every goal, I hope to see him cry very often”. The manager of Chelsea is hoping for a “restart” from Morata bringing out the best in him in the future games.

“It is imperative for him to score and he played a perfect match” the Italian backed up Alvaro Morata.

Chelsea tops group L with a maximum of 6 points with PAOK level on three points alongside BATE Borisov, the Belarusian champions.
