India’s leading wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav cleared the air about his comments on MS Dhoni, blaming the media for ‘false’ interpretation of his statement.

He faced flak after he had jokingly said that Dhoni sometimes errs with his suggestions from behind the wicket to spinners and has lashed out at rumor mills over his comments.

“There are a lot of times when Dhoni goes wrong but then you can’t say that to him”, Kuldeep said in jest during an award function in Mumbai.

The 24-year-old cricketer from UP took to his social media handle and urged people not to create and spread rumors but spread love instead.

“Here we go for another made up controversy from our media who loves to make tangy rumors for no reason. Just want to throw some light on the issue that has been proliferated by some people, that the news is totally false. I didn’t give any inappropriate statement about anyone (sic),” Kuldeep later wrote in an Instagram story.

He also explained to the media how the veteran cricketer helps the young spinners in the side to improve with his vital tips.
