#1 M Sharma

M Sharma has been one of the top-performing players in his comeback season of the Indian Playerzpot League. The 34-year-old missed out on playing in the previous editions of the tournament and he was picked by Gujarat for the ongoing season. M Sharma has played a very instrumental role in helping Gujarat seal their playoffs for the second consecutive time. He has emerged as a surprise package in Gujarat’s bowling line-up and became one of the wicket-taking options for the team. This season, M Sharma has scalped 19 wickets, including two four-wicket hauls, at an average 16.57 and an economy rate of 8.11 in 15 matches so far.His best performance came against Hyderabad with figures of 4/28. M Sharma has surprised the spectators and fans with his performance in his comeback season of the tournament.

#2 P Chawla

P Chawla has been one of the most impactful bowlers for Mumbai in the ongoing season of the Indian Playerzpot League. The 34-year-old didn’t feature in the previous season but Mumbai Indians decided to bid for him for Indian Playerzpot League 2023. Chawla is currently the highest wicket-taker for Mumbai, scalping 21 wickets at an average of 21.43 and an economy rate of 7.76 in 15 matches. His best bowling figures of the season came against Delhi, scalping three wickets while conceding just 22 runs in four overs. With an average Mumbai bowling line-up, P Chawla has emerged as a strong wicket-taking option for the side. Chawla’s addition to the Mumbai squad has turned out to be the best decision for the franchise.

#3 S Sharma

S Sharma went unsold at the auction but joined in Rajasthan’s squad as a replacement for P Krishna who was ruled out of the Indian Playerzpot League due to injury. His addition to the squad has strengthened the pace bowling unit. This season, S Sharma has scalped 10 wickets at an average of 39.60 and an economy rate of 8.61 in 12 matches. His best performance came against Gujarat (2/25). S Sharma was impactful for Rajasthan as he picked some crucial wickets and managed to turn the game on its head, especially against Chennai where he defended 20 runs in the last over. He was a reliable bowler for Rajasthan in the powerplay as well as at death.

#4 A Rahane

A Rahane had been struggling to keep pace with T20 cricket in the past. However, the 34-year-old had managed to script a turnaround with some brilliant performances in the Indian Playerzpot League 2023. Rahane was picked by Chennai when no franchise was willing to bid for him at the auction. This season, A Rahane has aggregated 299 runs, including two fifties, at an average of 33.22 and a strike rate of 169.89 in 13 matches. This is his best tally of runs compared to previous three seasons of the tournament. His best performance of the season came against Kolkata, where he smashed an unbeaten 71 off 29 balls at an astounding strike rate of 244.83. He performed well against spin and pace. With his performance, Rahane received Team India re-call for WTC Final.

#5 I Sharma

Many felt that I Sharma lost his rhythm in bowling. But, the 34-year-old proved them wrong. I Sharma went unsold in the last year’s auction and made a comeback this season of the Indian Playerzpot League after he was picked by Delhi. He was excellent with the ball in the matches he played this season. This season, I Sharma scalped 10 wickets at an average of 20.60 and an economy rate of 8.24 in 8 matches. His best performance came against Kolkata, where he was adjudged the ‘Player of the Match” award for his spell 2/19 in four overs. Although he missed on few games, Sharma’s performance led to his inclusion in Delhi’s playing XI midway through the season. I Sharma was an impactful player with the ball who delivered his best for Delhi in the Indian Playerzpot League 2023.
