Kolkata Knight Riders IPL 2023: Full Fixture List, Time, Date, & Venue

Two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders will open their 2023 campaign against the Punjab Kings on April 1 at Mohali. 

It was not the best of the season for KKR last time around as they finished seventh in the league standings. Having tasted the glory twice in their history of the tournament, the franchise is now at the crossroads of bringing in new talent and a winning project. For that purpose, they have brought in S. Iyer as their captain who is one of the prominent Indian players, a lot will ride on his shoulders this campaign. 

The batting department is not the strongest out there for the KKR with captain S. Iyer leading the charge, backing him will be the likes of D. Wiese and M. Singh. However, they have got a good chunk of all-rounders, S. Hassan, V. Iyer A. Russell, and S. Nairne. Certainly, T20 being an all-rounder favoruite format these players will have to deliver. 

Kolkata is placed in Group alongside MI, RR, DC, and LSG.  The team will play the other five teams in Group B twice and then the remaining four matches against the teams in their own group once, thus making it a total of 14 league games.
