Women’s T20 Championship is all getting thrilling towards its end. Adding a thrill to it, Group A defending champions West Indies will lock horns with the Group B runners-up Australia in the first semi-final at Sir Vivian Richards stadium in Antigua on Friday.

The host who had already won the 2016 edition in India, have been immensely dominated its opponents be it against Bangladesh, South Africa or Sri Lanka. There was no chance for the opponents to spread their wings to capture the game when they are facing WIndies, that paved their way to the semi-finals. WIndies achievement came out due to some of the brilliant performances by all-rounder Deandra Dottin. Dottin played a vital role in steering Windies to semi-finals and will be an integral part of the winning in the semis as well.

While three-time champions Australia stand tall against Windies. They proved to be favorites after some impressive wins against New Zealand, Pakistan, and Ireland until they got defeated by India in their last outing. Although they had a disappointing end, still they are a worthy opponent when it comes to facing Windies. Alyssa Healy proved to be a livewire for Australia as her performance drove the team to semi-finals.
