Everton dropped points at home after a 1-1 draw at Newcastle in the midweek action. Despite the strong home record, Everton conceded in the 19th minute when Solomon Rondon scored from a counter-attacking situation. After a string of chances from the blues, the equalizer arrived from Richarlison in the 38th minute. Watford put up a decent fight but ended up losing 2-1 to title favorites Manchester City at Vicarage Road. As expected, City had a positive start of the match with quick goals from Leroy Sane and Riyad Mahrez either side of the break. However, Abdoulaye Doucoure was able to salvage a late consolation for Watford.

Everton has been pretty reliable when it comes to the defence. Just seven out of the 17 league goals conceded by the club have come at home, where the club has also kept three clean sheets in the last five. Watford has been struggling to get the ball into the net. My choice is to back a clean sheet for Everton.
