Liverpool will look to play host to Crystal Palace on Saturday at Anfield as fans will continue to be haunted by this face-off.

Liverpool began their 2019 campaign in a disastrous fashion where their 20 matches unbeaten streak in Premier League was overnight destroyed by title champions Man City and later against Wolves. As of now, Liverpool is facing blowback in their defence due to Trent Alexander’s injury. In addition, Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren will also be taking a step back for this match. However, Joel Matip is likely to return to the mid-field after single-game bench stinct.

Although Liverpool got themselves back to winning ways in Brighton last time out, Crystal Palace might book themselves as a worthy opponent against the Reds. Crystal Palace started 2019 with two wins, beating Wolves 2-0 away in the Premier League before a 1-0 FA Cup win against League Two Grimsby Town. Jordan Ayew scored late goals in both wins, while Luka Milivojevic also netted against Wolves.

Probable Line-ups:

My PlayerzPot XI:

PlayerzPot Prediction:

Liverpool will be looking forward to getting back to winning ways and this time they might as Mo Salah is in his best form. Crystal Palace is all motivated but with Klopp’s current line-up, a win can be guaranteed.
