Jaipur plays against Haryana at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida tonight i.e. 06th November at 8 pm IST.

Both the groups are at the base of the Zone A standings and would hope to make it at the best half with a win in tonight’s match.

Jaipur had an 11-points slam against Gujarat as a repercussion of their poor raiding in the match. The Jaipur raiders could score only 10 raid points in the match. Nitin Rawal with 4 attack points was the best scorer, while the accomplished campaigners, Deepak Niwas Hooda, and Anup Kumar went astray and did not contribute much to the group’s aggregate. The Jaipur’s defense though did well. With the incorporation of the Korean cover defender, Young-Chang Ko, in the team, it reinforced their resistance to taking them to 11 tackle points against the Gujarat team. The worries of the defense lie in the absence of the shape and consistency of Bajirao Hodage and Sandeep Dhull who have flopped to satisfy their team’s and fans’ anticipations.

On the other hand, Haryana had a conclusive win against Patna and would hope to extend their winning dimensions. Without Monu Goyat the team, under Vikas Kandola able leadership, stood up as a unit to grandstand an inside-out show of endeavors. While the raiding was supported by Naveen’s and Vikas’s performance, it was the defense that booked the match in Haryana’s support. The Haryana defenders contributed 15 tackle points, which incorporated a High-5 from the left corner, Kuldeep Singh. Sachin Shingade, with his 4-point defending show against Patna, may get a shot in the beginning 7, and would no doubt replace Prateek who couldn’t awe everyone much with his game.
The last time the two groups confronted one another (Match 18 of PKL 6), Jaipur ended up as the winner with a 36-33 win.

Tentative 7 players aligned for each team

Haryana Team: (Captain) Vikas Kandola, Naveen Kumar, Sachin Shingade, Sunil, Kuldeep Singh, Mayur Shivtarkar/Monu Goyat, Parveen

Raiders

Anup Kumar, Vikas Kandola and Naveen Kumar
Vikas Kandola has been a pivotal player for the Haryana team in this season and has managed his duties well in the absence of Manu Goyat. Naveen Kumar has also been a valuable addition to the Haryana’s raiding unit as he scored well in difficult situations and can also be instrumental in defense. Anup Kumar is the most experienced raider and will be expected to lead his team to victory tonight with his terrific performance.

Defenders

Young-Chang Ko, Parveen, and Kuldeep Singh
Surender Nada’s void has been well filled by Kuldeep Singh and his displayed quite an excellent defensive tactics in his game. Parveen has performed well in the cover position with his blocks and dashes and supported the defense well for the Haryana unit. Ko had a fantastic debut against Gujarat and will be expected to maintain his flow.

All Rounders

Nitin Rawal
Rawal is the all-rounder for the Jaipur as an exception to the inconsistent performance of Deepak Niwas Hooda. He is a good defender and a raider and both these skills will come handy in tonight’s match.
