The energetic Sunrisers Hyderabad will be welcoming Rajasthan Royals in their IPL 2023 opener on April 2 at the Rajeev Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.

Hyderabad will look to turn their fortunes around in next season of IPL. Hyderabad won the competition in 2016, earning themselves a deserved place in the tournament’s history books. They finished eighth in the 2022 season which definitely was a shocking performance from R. Tripathi & company along with their entire fan base.

Hyderabad have an aggressive bowling department and were playing up to the expectations last season in the first half but they failed all their later games. However, this season T. Natarajan and U. Malik will be looking to work their magic for the entire season which surely boosts their team strength which is further backed up by a talented pool of players who will look to make amends this time around.

Hyderabad is placed in Group B alongside CSK, PBKS, RCB, and GT. The team will play the other five teams in Group A twice and then the remaining four matches against the teams in their own group once, thus making it a total of 14 league games.
