The Indian cricket fans were awe-struck after the sensational display of performance of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the first ODI against the Windies on Sunday in Guwahati.

Rohit remained not out on 152 while Kohli scored 140 and combined shared a 246- run stand which decimated the Windies bowlers.

The Indian duo mounted up centuries as India chased down a tricky 323-run target without much sweat-shed. According to the Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, the ease with which the pair bats feels like as if they are playing on a PlayStation.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma who are No.1 and No.2 in the ODI rankings for batsmen currently, stitched together a 246 run stand for the second wicket which was their fifth 200 plus run stand in the ODI cricket- the most by any pair in the history of the games.

Their one-time teammate Harbhajan Singh heaped praise on the duo who commented,” the pair is No.1 and whenever they bat together, they dominate”.
One of the most prolific partners in the ODIs, Virat and Kohli have till now scored 3931 runs in the partnership which is the seventh highest among all Indian duos
